From the commandeering shapes of Blades to the retro vibes of Leaf and the musical cadences of Notes, there is a walnut wall panel here to suit the demands of any residential or commercial space, from compact home studies to expansive hotel lobbies.

With its exceptional mix of gentle sapwood shades and darker undertones, Wonderwall Studios’ American walnut is an indulgent choice for designers seeking a decidedly premium look and feel for their clients’ interiors. This stunning material is sourced from small workshops and sawmills in Slovakia, where its cracks, nuts and other distinctive features are rejected by the mainstream market (but upcycled to full effect in the Studios’ own designs). Elsewhere in the walnut wood collection, the brown hues and dramatic streaks of Ukrainian walnut deliver a particularly high end aesthetic.

The timber used within each of these walnut wood panels has been flamed straight, but the eagle-eyed amongst you will spot the occasional wavy grain, which has been purposefully left in to add character to each installation.

Blades

These wood panels are universally loved for their strong, edgy look – yet the uneven layering of the precision-cut triangles within Blades creates tiny shadows that add a glimpse of effeminacy to an otherwise sharp and seductive design. These products have been handmade using fine quality Ukrainian walnut from branches and pruning cuts.

Crest

The walnut wood panels in Wonderwall Studios’ Crest collection blend chic geometric lines and rich textures with informal placements to create a luxurious aesthetic that will demand attention (yet won’t necessarily dominate). The American walnut used to produce these panels has endured quite the journey, having been harvested in Croatia, cut and assembled in Slovakia, and sanded and lacquered in the Netherlands.

Handcrafted from re-engineered Ukrainian walnut, Leaf delivers a touch of 60s style glamour backed by a thin bog oak lining that adds contrast to the lighter grains. With a nod to the uniform arrangement of piano keys, Notes plays havoc with perception.
