We’re Leading the way in Sustainable Design
Most of our materials have had a previous life. That’s why we’ve chosen them. Reimagined, repurposed and reborn as new surfaces, their power to ‘give back’ to the environment is at the heart of our sustainability ethos.
Each has a story to tell, with an ethical, environmental twist. It’s true that when it comes to luxury interiors, the combination of ‘sustainable’ and ‘luxury do not always go hand in hand. We address that by offering carefully chosen pieces, innovative materials and beautiful finishes that are predominantly sustainable, inherently environmentally friendly, and expertly crafted for a distinctively luxurious look and feel.
How We Work
At Designer Surface Solutions, we always aim to meet with you initially to discuss your project requirements in more detail. We’ll talk about everything from your chosen themes through to your preferred colourways and styles – and, of course, we’ll make sure we’re all on the same page as far as budget is concerned. You’ll be presented with samples of materials and surfaces, along with examples and images of products, furniture pieces and accessories that we believe will truly complement your design scheme. (Please note that all meetings at this time are held in accordance with Covid-19 regulations set out by the UK government.)
We are happy to leave you with samples on the day, and arrange for additional samples if required. If you are content with our approach and convinced that we are the right partners for your project, the next stage is to formally invite us to provide a quote.
Our new creative hub is currently under construction and we plan to open by Spring 2021 – a relaxed setting based in Bedfordshire for you to seek inspiration and discuss your project requirements or bring your clients to view our surface solutions, materials and furniture offering.
